'Discovering Southern Humanities Review' class Feb. 11
The Southern Humanities Review will host "Discovering SHR," a free master writing class, at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church Saturday, Feb. 11. Pushcart Prize nominees Alison Pelegrin and Emma Bolden will lead workshops on writing poetry and nonfiction. The classes are free and open to the public, but seating is limited. To reserve a spot, email to shrengl@auburn.edu. Following the master classes, The Gnu's Room will host a free reading by the presenters at 6 p.m. "Discovering SHR" is sponsored by the Department of English and the College of Liberal Arts, as well as the Alabama State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
